HIV Testing Week 2021
National HIV Testing Week aims to highlight the importance of regular HIV testing and provides additional opportunities at local venues for people to take a quick and painless finger-prick test.
The campaign hopes to reduce the number of people who are diagnosed late so that they can receive early or effective treatment, live a longer, healthier life and reduce the risk of passing on the virus to others.
The next HIV Testing Week begins on Monday 1st February 2021, when rapid HIV tests will be taking place at community venues across Croydon.
HIV testing is available all year round at Croydon University Hospital, in GP surgeries and at other clinical venues. Tests are also available to order online and can be sent to you in the post. Anyone diagnosed with HIV will get free treatment and support.
